Polygonum cuspidatum'un aktif maddeleri kan-beyin bariyerini geçer ve merkezi sinir sistemini etkiler ve burada Borrelia bakterisine karşı etki gösterirler. Bitki, beyni özellikle enflamatuar hasardan, mikrobiyal endotoksinlerden ve bakteriyel enfeksiyonlardan korur. Japon knotweed, nöroborelyoz tedavisinde diğerleri arasında kullanılır.

The taste differs somewhat from the one I was used to, but I mix it with some fruit juice, and it\'s quite OK : I got used to it fairly quickly. As I take big quantities of this, I was looking for a good price, and I\'m glad I finally found it !!\r\nThe reception was OK as well (though the paperbag seems to leak a bit, but it doen t matter too much !)\r\nI will definitely re-order when this one is over
